Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Introduction

Mode Solo (“Mode Solo”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors of modesolo.com and our newsletter. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Who is responsible (controller)

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the operator named in our Impressum. You can reach us via our contact page.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Your email address (and name, if you choose to give it) when you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource.
  • The content of your message and your contact details when you get in touch with us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, date and time of access. Our hosting provider stores this in server log files to keep the site secure and running.
  • Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work (for example, caching and security).

4. How we use your information

  • To run, secure and improve the website (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To send you the newsletter and free resources you asked for (legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • To answer your questions (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

5. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus). When you visit the site, your browser transmits technical data to the hosting servers so the page can be delivered. Hostinger processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

6. Fonts

All fonts on this website are hosted locally on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made when you visit our pages.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address with our newsletter service provider in order to send you emails. We use a double opt-in process where required to confirm that you own the email address. Your data is kept until you unsubscribe. Details about the provider we use are listed here: [newsletter provider].

8. Affiliate links

Some links on Mode Solo are affiliate links. When you click one, the partner (for example a software company or an affiliate network) may set a cookie to recognise that you came from our site, so we can earn a commission if you buy something. We do not receive any of your personal data from these partners, only anonymous sales or click statistics. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

9. Analytics and advertising

We currently do not use analytics or advertising tools that track you. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

10. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run Mode Solo (such as hosting and email delivery), with authorities if we are legally required to, or with a successor in the event of a merger or sale of the business.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Have your data deleted (Art. 17)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability (Art. 20)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3))
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of the German state where you live or where we are based

To exercise these rights, please contact us.

12. Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical measures, including SSL/TLS encryption, to protect your data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

13. Children’s privacy

Mode Solo is not intended for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
